Creamy Tomatillo Jalapeño Avocado Salsa

This creamy salsa combines tender tomatillos, jalapeños, and garlic with ripe avocado, fresh cilantro, and lime juice to create a smooth, flavorful dip that’s perfect for tacos, grilled meats, tortilla chips, burritos, and more.

Ingredients

  • 7 medium tomatillos, husks removed and rinsed
  • 2 jalapeños (remove seeds for a milder salsa)
  • ½ white onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2–4 tablespoons cold water (optional, to adjust consistency)
